When we were looking at all the other animals Crew just kept wanting to run back to the ponies

Now there is something all these photos have in common, did you notice what it is? Besides the fact that they are all of Crew. I had a realization that maby its time to cut back on his bottle consumption, when I saw that he had a bottle in his hand in EVERY single one these photos. This guy loves his ba ba's they are definitely a huge comfort to him. Is is bad to give him a bottle whenever he wants it? Is he to old for a ba ba now? should I be trying to ween him? Maby some of you veteran moms can give me some advice.

Who needs 3 hands?

crewser 19 or 20 months

I know I cannot fully describe in words how much I love my little munchkin. My eyes are completely welled up right now just thinking about it. We had such a great day today, playing and laughing. I just love the moments (like the many we had today) where I am completely focused on him, and absorbing like a sponge every laugh, every smile and every sweet and funny thing he says and does. Because I know it will not last forever. My 22 month old perfect, ball of sunshine with his crazy mop of curly blond hair (that I love way to much to even consider cutting it) will not be 22 months forever. I am enjoying him SO SO much right now, I feel like the luckiest person in the whole entire world, to have the amazing, sweet son that I have. Sometimes I'm not sure I feel like I even deserve him. Someone else in this world must have been more deserving, someone more righteous, that gave more service, someone more kind, who was a better friend or daughter or sister or spouse. BUT even though I am no where near perfect, I'm so very grateful that my father in heaven gave me a perfect son. I promise to be the best mother I can possibly be to him. The love that I feel for Crew is a deeper, more amazing more intense love then I could ever believe I would ever feel, and I can't imagine loving another child as much. My heart is so full right now I think it might burst. I love you SO SO much my sweet little Soldier boy, love your mommy

Hoarders

That new TV show "Hoarders" has got me seriously cleaning, organizing and making trips to DI. I get anxiety just watching that show.

Some Summer Stuff

Yellowstone July 2009 - I went with my dad just for the weekend, we camped out two nights, that's right camped. I don't mind camping if I'm at a lake, like lake powell and your boating all day and then you camp out at night. But not so much just camping to camp like we did. It was worth it to spend some quality time with my awesome dad though.

I don't know why but....

I have this desire in me to tell you all how much I love GREEK FOOD. I'd even go as far to say it is my favorite kind of cuisine. I went to this little Greek place in Huntington Beach a little over a year ago with my family, I don't remember the name of it and I don't even remember where it is, but it was the best flipping Greek food I've ever had. Someday I will track it down again. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE gyros with the lamb and beef souvlaki meat on fresh hot pita bread, and that yellow rice with paprika on top, All of which with lots and lots of cucumber sauce, and greek salad with feta cheese and whatever that yummy vinigerette dressing is they put on it. Oh and baklava, I really really like baklava, that's all.

Am I ungrateful or what

OK I LOVE summer, I do, I have especially LOVED THIS SUMMER. Being home in Utah for the first time in 5 years has been so great. I have been camping, swimmming tons, bbq's, pool partys, rollerblading, hiking its been great, really great, a real summer. BUT I'm ready for fall, anyone else feel the same? Its my favorite time of year hands down. September and October are my favorite months. I just love the crisp, fresh, cool feeling in the air, and not really having to use your AC or your heat yet. I love breaking out my fleeces and long sleeved stuff. I love making chili and split pea soup on my stove on chili nights, no pun intended. I love driving up provo canyon and seeing all the leaves change colors and buying pumpkins to put out on my front porch AND I love getting really ridiculously excited about snowboarding. I know its August and I'm already thinking about snowboarding. This is one reason I love living in Utah so much, I love having 4 very different seasons. For now I will enjoy the rest of summer as it will be gone soon. And I will be cursing myself in about January that I every wished summer would end.
