Ashley Siruno inspired me to make a new years resolutions list. These things have been up in my head and I have been doing some of them but I'm thinking it will help even more if I write them down. And oh ya I haven't blogged in like a month and a half, I've sort of lost the will to blog lately. I think this usually happens to me for a period every winter, it just seems like there is really not all that much to exciting going on or that I really want to take pictures of in the winter. And sometimes I just need to take a break from thinking about taking pictures. I love having pictures I just hate taking them. Its nice to just go do something sometimes and truly enjoying yourself without thinking about documenting it. Maby I make to big of a deal about it in my head. It fact I think thats it, I can bring my camera along and if I feel so inspired to take a picture at any given moment I can and if not I don't have to, problem solved. I'm glad I thought of that :) Anyway before I got off on a tangent I was going to list my new years resolutions
1- Read 1 chapter of the Book of Mormon everyday - I've been doing this since Sunday and so far I'm right on track. Ya know I have been LDS my whole life and have never read this book that is the cornerstone of our religion cover to cover in order. Yes I've read it a fair amount over my life bouncing around all over the place but never from beginning to end all the way through, so here I go.
2- Attend the temple one day a month, this I'm really bad at but I really want to make it a habit. And it shouldn't be that hard, I actually like going, I just need to pick a day every month and go.
3- Attend all of church every week
Thats it, I don't want to make to many resolutions because I think the more I make the less likely i will be to keep each one. I think spiritual goals are the most important for me anyway. I feel like if I can do these things and keep my relationship with God strong and feed my spirit then other areas I want to improve on in my life will just fall into place. In the last general conference Dale Renlund of the seventy said " Don't be casual in your worship to God " I couldn't agree more, its vitally, extremely important for me and the welfare of my family.

Awesome goals!! Good for anyone to have!
Yay! Those are all GREAT resolutions! We should plan a girls trip to the temple sometime :)
Good goals... I especially need to work on #2...
Those are good ones, Ash! I really need to work on my temple attendance lately. Especially since the San Diego temple is sooo beautiful! Good luck!
I am going to go at least once a week during the day - let me know if you want to go together some afternoon!
To the temple... that is! ;)
