That happened to me too when I went private a year ago. It took awhile but then eventually people started to remember that they had to log in to see my stuff :) I haven't forgotten about you!
I kind of forgot to check your blog cuz it doesn't show your new posts on my page anymore. But I will remember to check more often! I love that post about summer, so cute! And all the pics of Crew are too adorable. He is seriously the cutest little boy ever Ash!!
I like the path you're on with limiting your sweets but it's not good enough. Come on girl! I said be ambitious! I don't want you to try and do something that you can't keep doing forever because this is about forming healthy habits but I don't want you to be a slave to sweets on a daily basis either.
When I started dating Michael I fell into the sweets after meals trap too. He is the KING of this habit. It's so frustrating too because my body started to crave this pattern. I did break it however and I'll tell you how. I stopped giving in. That's it. Cold turkey. Now, on occasion, I will have a couple hershey's kisses or a cookie or something after a meal but it's not a daily thing. If you can stop doing this for 21 days and by stop I mean no sweet stuff after meals at all, then I know you can gain control of the craving. It's fine if you have a treat every once in a while but distinguish between the after meal sweet need and just a random cupcake at a birthday party. What about doing 1 sweet a week and maybe two if there is a legitimate holiday/celebration? By legitimate I mean a birthday party not, "oh yeah, today is Rosa Parks day, I better have a baked good to celebrate." I think you can do it. I think you will be amazed at how different you feel and I think you will actually see results. I'm not sure you will if you only stop "sweeting" after one meal instead of two. That's not big enough. Not sacrificial enough.
Sorry for the novel but I don't have your email address. :) Get back to me about it all. I want more from you Ashley! More!
