- I had Crew in my arms, I look down the backside of his diaper to see if he needs a diaper change when out of no where he says "KA KA". I say that when I check his diaper and see poo poos, but I don't think I had even said ka ka that day. He surprises and heck out of me sometimes with the things he picks up on.
- He saw his bottle up on the dresser in our room, he couldn't quite reach it so he goes and gets his car, pushes it over to the dresser stands up on it and grabs his bottle, what the........ what barely one year old has the thought process to think "hmmm I can't reach my bottle, if I put my car by the dresser and stand up on it I will be taller and will there for be able to reach it." maby this is normal, but he is my first so I was amazed. He also has started to do this in the kitchen to reach the higher drawers, scares the crap out of mom sometimes, as a car with wheels isn't the most stable thing to stand on and our travertine floor isn't the softest thing to land on.
- I have started to try and teach him animal sounds, I say Crew what does the duck say, he says "kak kak" so cute, thats the only one he knows really well right now.
- He loves to feed the dog his little baby crackers from his high chair, that's beef stews new favorite spot to hang out.
- The words he's saying right now: "da da" "ma ma" "cup" (it sounds more like "gum" when he says it) "ba ba" and of course "ka ka" and "kak kak".
- His favorite thing to do is race his car around the house, he goes super fast, gets to the end of the room and does a quick 180 and repeats this process a zillion times, sometimes he gets a little to comfortable, goes to fast around a corner and wipes out then "WAAAHHHHHHAAAA" hes drives a bit more conservative after his wipe outs.
Heres some pics of Crew in the bath, aka sink about a week ago right before I gave him his first hair cut.
Oh and here are pics right before we went on a walk the other day
