4th of July

I did the freedom run in the morning with Darise. Its a 10k. It was fun to run the parade route and have everyone cheer for you, and there were so many people, over 1300 runners that finished the 10k. I finished in 1:05:55 and my average pace was a 10:38 minute mile which for me was good, I'm slow. I ran a 11:58 average mile on the 1/2 marathon I did in March. I realize this was half the race but still I was excited that I improved my pace.
